Cerebrovascular and Endovascular Residents and Fellows Course will cover the latest advances in the diagnosis and treatment of complex cerebrovascular disorders. The focus will be on the treatment of intracranial aneurysms and will cover both open and endovascular techniques. Didactic sessions will be supplemented with hands-on practical skills in the Seattle Science Foundation’s bioskills lab. Residents will have the opportunity to use cutting-edge technology.
Skull base approaches, aneurysm surgery techniques, and skills for cerebral bypass surgery will be taught with anatomical specimens and state of the art equipment including 3D microscopic dissection.
